No. This blog is not dead.
I find many of my friends have been furiously blogging. I'm working on it too. So, I guess i'll be back to blogging soon.
The last few days were idyllic.Like a lazy summer afternoon when you have nothing to do but curl up with a good book. Or a good movie and a cup of steaming coffee on a crisp November evening. I have finished Ishiguro's 'An Artist of the Floating World',besides watching quite a few old classics.
'Floating world'...that describes the past few days of Festivities perfectly.They have been like that floating world of pleasure. Balanced precariously between the everyday and the exotic with that slightest tang of the unreal in it. And with the same transitory,elusive quality.
Like a fleeting mirage. A painting with rose-tinted brushes.
Days free from time...
And now, the clock rules over my world again. It takes time to get back into those well-established lines.The old familiar Routine... Back to tracks once more. Like the morning jogger in grey sweatpants who goes past our gate at 6.30 every morning.Punctual.Almost to a fault.

Why do you have to get back into the established lines??
by established lines i mean normal routine of work...you know, get up in the morning,try to figure out how much you need to pass, pretend to study, pretend to read boring novel while actually reading sci-fi....
and all the rest of it!
your writing is so smooth and free flowing,its always a pleasure to read your posts ...
morning joggers in grey sweatpants are the most unromantic creations ever.
@ruby...
i couldn't agree with you more.
