Stage.

The storm entered suddenly and furiously like a mad little thing whirring away at top speed, promptly turning a few hastily-opened umbrellas upside-down.
From the balcony, the wind rushed in, bringing with it little sparks of water. The street lights grew blurry and melted into the storm, colouring up the rain in yellow patches here and there. The rain was no longer visible, you could only sense its presence from its familiar sound and the little dusts of mist that rose up from the street below.Like ice on a hot surface.
Two men walked by, soaking wet, laughing like schoolgirls caught by unexpected showers.
The storm showered its customary thunderclaps and lightning, took a few mad twirls round the swaying trees and ended as abruptly as it had started.
From the balcony seat, the whole performance was spectacular. And exhilarating.

What is it about storms that makes one feel delighted?
